Find Theatre

Royal & Derngate’s main entrance is situated on Swan Street, off the Guildhall Road, in the centre of Northampton. The theatres are approximately 15 minutes from the M1 and an hour from London by train. The train and bus stations are approximately a 15 minute walk from the theatre.

Access Information

Royal & Derngate has level access into the building and each auditorium. There are a number of wheelchair spaces in each and lift access to each floor except for the upper-circle. Toilets for the disabled are located on each floor.

Sign Language interpreted and Audio Described peformances are offered for some shows.

Car Parking

The nearest car parks to the thatre are Albion Place, St. John’s Open Air and Multi-storey car parks. Disabled parking is available in each car park and 24 hour CCTV cameras cover all car parks.

For SAT NAV devices, Albion Place Car Park is located at NN1 1UD and both St John’s Car Parks are located at NN1 1EQ.
